Uneven Skin Color

Dull and uneven skin color is due to sun damage and the aging process. Skin discoloration may encompass melasma and hyperpigmentation. Hyperpigmentation is when melanin is overproduced and creates deposits or dark spots on the skin.

Treatment will depend on what type of skin discolouration you have; some solutions may cause the problem area to worsen if not diagnosed correctly. Microneedling, Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) treatments and chemical peels are very effective treatments for uneven skin color.
