What is Vivace?

Vivace offers various settings that can be tailored to correct aged skin, stimulate collagen production and, above all, encourage skin tightening. Dr DeJuliis started using FDA-approved Vivace on patients in January 2019, and she has seen great results for the face, neck, arms, stomach, and decolletage.

Vivace is a very well-tolerated  microneedling treatment that will leave the skin refreshed and radiant. When the treating needles need to reach deeper into the skin, a topical anesthetic can be used, depending on the patient’s preference.

Dr. DeJuliis offers Vivace with platelet-rich plasma (PRP), using the patient’s own blood for those who desire a faster and deeper collagen stimulation. Once the plasma has been separated from the red cells, it can be either injected into the skin (preferred for deep wrinkles,  acne scars and stretch marks) or applied over the skin immediately after the microneedling, allowing its absorption through the microscopic opened channels.

The final step in the treatment is the application of a specialized soothing mask which promotes faster healing with less skin irritation and redness.

The results with Vivace are immediate and improve over time as new collagen continues to be produced. Patients will usually require about three treatments to see optimal results.
